How fast is your turnaround time on updating my books?
Before starting work, we’ll discuss with you your timing needs. For work at the client’s location, it’s usually just a matter of hours depending on the volume of work to be completed. For work completed at our site, we will work within your turnaround time. Either way, we’ll keep you informed every step of the way in case issues arise.

How does your billing work?
We like to do your books for two months to get a "feel" for what's entailed and how long it takes.  At that point we would like to bill you monthly the same amount.  That way we both know what our cash flow will be. We reserve the right to revisit the fee structure in 2 to 3 months to make sure that it is agreeable to both parties.

Can Bean Counters train my office staff in basic bookkeeping?
Absolutely! Our staff of professionals can provide as much training or as little training as necessary to ensure that your office staff is able to perform basic bookkeeping functions. Just ask us and we’ll gladly quote your training needs.

Do you bill for every phone call?
No. Once you’re a Bean Counters’ client we’d much prefer that you call us with a question regarding your books than attempt to enter a transaction or fix something in your records on your own. Quick calls for advice on how to do something in

What if I make a mistake in using the software or entering my financial records?
Don’t worry. Our experts can adjust, correct or fix any erroneous entry. Best of all, the program creates an audit trail that shows what was done and why we did it—a handy feature come tax time or months later when you’re trying to remember why something was done.

I already have an accountant who does my taxes. Would Bean Counters work with my accountant come tax time?
Definitely! We work with other accountants and tax professionals all over town. We’ll happily liaison with our clients’ accountants on issues of importance throughout the year. All we need is your permission.
